The S1G party was held at my house in Minneapolis on 9/10 Jan 2004. The time we commemorated, 10 Jan 2004 7:37:04 CST, was 230 seconds after 1 Jan 1970 00:00:00 GMT. This marked the halfway point of the UNIX epoch, the end of which in 2038 will feature a Y2K-style bug-fixing fest.

The party featured three binary clocks built for the occasion, two built beforehand, one built overnight and completed with less than 10 minutes to spare (and all built by Joe):
